Trinity River Authority reports a release of 2000 cfs with a lake level of 131.16.
Lake Livingston is in great shape now with good fishing reports coming in from Lake Livingston marinas and campgrounds. White Bass are “on fire,” on the south end and mid lake. Good reports of Black Bass caught mostly off lay downs and under boat houses are coming in from all over the lake. Fishing for Blue Cats shallow off the bulk heads has slowed down now with the warmer water. Excellent reports of Crappie still being caught in the creeks on the north end of the lake and off the boat houses mid and south lake.
BEACON BAY MARINA - Excellent fishing here recently out of Beacon Bay Marina. Whites are being caught now in good numbers around Pine Island on trolled pet spoons. Look for schooling fish early. Fish the humps at 15’-21’ around mid morning with jigging slabs. Best days are sunny with little wind. Some good Black Bass have been caught in the boat houses here recently. The early bite for Blacks has been the best. After the sun gets hot key on flipping soft plastic worms and craw worms in the shaded part of the boat houses.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Black Bass good on pumpkin sinkos around the docks. A six lb. bass was reported caught and released on a jug line. Catfish on jugs has been good early on fresh shad. Crappie good on the docks and in Bethy creek on live minnows rubbed with fresh hamburger meat.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Cat fishing has been very good near the marina and off the pier at the marina.
BROWDER’S MARINA - Catfish and White Bass good below the dam on fresh shad. Catfish good in the lake early on noodles baited with fresh shad. White bass picking up around pine island.
COVE MARINA - River is clearing now providing improved fishing. Cat fishing has been good on rod and reel and also on trot lines baited with fresh shad. Black bass fishing has been good her in Carolina creek and in Thomas lake on soft plastic watermelon red lizards and black neon chigger craws. Crappie are still being caught up Carolina creek and are beginning to show up in the river.
GALLOWAYS MARINA - Water is in good shape here with Black Bass being caught off the points on medium diving crank baits with some Whites mixed in. Good numbers of large Blue Cats still being caught on trot lines in the river baited with fresh shad.
HARMON CREEK MARINA - Black bass are being caught here in good numbers around cattails and lay downs. Water is in good shape. Cat fishing in the river channel has been fair on rod and reel baited with fresh cut shad. Good jug lining in the mouth of Harmon Creek.
HARTS CREEK MARINA - Good fishing for Black Bass in Brushy Creek on soft plastic craw fish and spinner baits. A few good catfish have been caught in the river channel but has slowed with the heat.
INDIAN CREEK MARINA - Good White bass fishing on trolled pet spoons around the old 190 road bed when the wind lays.
OUTBACK CAMPGROUND AND MARINA - Bank fishing for Blue Cats here has slowed with the warmer weather. Trot lining the river has been steady for good numbers of Blue Cats. Several nice Black Bass have been caught here recently near the marina.
PENWAUGH MARINA - Continued excellent fishing here out of Penwaugh. Catfish good on jug lines baited with fresh shad early. Black Bass to 6lb. Have been reported caught recently off the boat houses on soft plastic june bug lizards, and rattle traps. White Bass are being caught in good numbers early off the points chasing shad. Also, good numbers of Whites with occasional Striper mixed in are coming off traditional humps from 15’ to 21’on jigged slabs off the bottom. The “Lump, Old 190 Road Bed, Dove Island and the river channel breaks are all producing fish. Best fishing is on calm days around mid morning. Some recent schooling action for Whites recently in Kickapoo Creek.
SANDY CREEK MARINA - Excellent fishing for white Bass recently out of Sandy Creek. The Old 190 Bridge, the Railroad Bridge and the old river channel have all produced good numbers of fish caught recently on jigging slabs and trolled pet spoons. Fish have been sporadically schooling around the river channel and at the mouth of Kickapoo Creek. Excellent Black Bass fishing recently with good numbers of fish 14” to 18” taking a variety of soft plastic worms and craw worms fished around the boat houses. Key on the deeper boat houses.
WALKERS CAMP GROUNDS - Several “nice” Black Bass were caught recently out of Walkers Camp Ground on live minnows. Cat fishing remains good on rod and reel near the marina.
WATER FRONT LODGE - A 50lb. Catfish was brought in here recently caught on a trot line, also a 16” Black Bass was caught off the pier at Water Front Lodge. White Bass fishing has been excellent out of here.
WHITE ROCK CITY MARINA - Water conditions are excellent here with some good reports of Crappie and Black Bass being caught up the creeks in the brush tops on live minnows.

Fishing on Lake Livingston is excellent now with water conditions looking good in most areas. Crappie and Black Bass fishing up the creeks are on fire. Crappie and Black Bass are on the beds. Crappie are biting on minnows and jigs. Black Bass are being caught on spinner baits, Texas rigged lizards and craw-worms. Good numbers of catfish are being caught shallow on the bulkheads early and on jug-lines baited with fresh shad. Some big Stripers have been caught recently on trotlines in the river north of the lake. White Bass fishing is good off main lake points and around Dove Island.
BEACON BAY MARINA - Water in good shape here. Crappie and Black Bass fishing is good.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Excellent Crappie fishing at the marina off the boat docks and around the boat houses in Bethy Creek. Black Bass fishing here has been good on soft plastic Texas-rigged craw-worms, lizards and sinkos fished under the boat houses.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Crappie are spawning and bite has been good. Black Bass are on the beds and being caught on worms.
BROWDER’S MARINA - White Bass fishing is good below the dam with lots of fish being reported caught here.
COVE MARINA - Excellent Crappie fishing here in Thomas Lake and also up Carolina Creek. Black Bass fishing has been excellent here fishing around cat-tails and wood up Carolina Creek. Excellent fishing for Blue Cats on jug-lines in the open part of Carolina Creek. The river is clearing out with some big Ops and Stripers being caught in the river here recently.
GALLOWAYS MARINA - Crappie fishing good here in Caney Creek and good around the boat stalls. Excellent Catfishing reported near the marina with several large Ops up to 62 lbs being weighed here.
HARTS CREEK MARINA - Catfish are being caught on jug-lines.
INDIAN CREEK MARINA - Good fishing for Black Bass and Crappie up Indian Creek.
OUTBACK CAMPGROUND AND MARINA - Catfish reported being caught off the banks at the marina and on trotlines.
PENWAUGH MARINA - Excellent bites here on Black Bass, Crappie, White Bass and Catfish. Lots of shad in the water. Fish are still sitting on the beds. White Bass schooling early on the points and chasing shad.
SANDY CREEK MARINA - White Bass are biting good up the creek and off Dove Island. The water condition here is looking good. Black Bass are starting to move into deeper water.
WALKERS CAMP GROUNDS - Excellent fishing here for Catfish and White Bass.
WHITE ROCK CITY MARINA - Fishing good here for Crappie and White Bass. Some reports of good Stripers coming in. Water conditions look good.

Fishing has been great on Lake Livingston recently and should continue with the warming temperatures. White Bass are now making their annual run up the river. Nice stringers of White Bass have been caught in the upper creeks. Black Bass fishing has been excellent with numerous fish 5 -7 lbs reported caught recently. Crappie are beginning to move shallow to spawn. With the beautiful weather and the great fishing, now is the time to enjoy an outing on Lake Livingston.
BEACON BAY MARINA - Water is mostly clear here with good Black Bass fishing reported in Beacon Bay and in Tigerville.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Cat fishing has been excellent. Blues are being caught on fresh shad and perch. Crappie fishing has been fair off of the pier. White Bass fishing has been good. Whites are being caught on Little Georges. Small Rattle traps and live bait. Black Bass are taking 7 inch Berkley Power Worms (Black and Chartreuse) around the rocks.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Crappie fishing remains good on live minnows and jigs fished in the brush tops in Kickapoo and Rocky Creek. Black Bass here has been good on spinner baits and on soft plastic. A few Whites are being caught up Kickapoo and Rocky Creek.
BROWDER’S MARINA - Good fishing for catfish below the dam on fresh cut shad. Good crappie fishing in the willows.
COVE MARINA - Good fishing for Catfish. Crappie fishing has been good up against the banks. White Bass fishing has been spotty.
GALLOWAYS MARINA - Some good White Bass fishing has been reported up White Rock Creek and Caney Creek. A few Crappie are being caught around the boathouses. Upper parts of White Rock are clear, areas closer to the river channel remain muddy.
HARMON CREEK MARINA - Fishing for spawning Whites has been excellent in Harmon Creek recently. Fish are being caught on jigs and in-line spinners off the sandbars. Crappie are starting to show up in the brush tops. Cat fishing has been good in the Harmon Creek flats on jug-lines baited with fresh shad.
HARTS CREEK MARINA - Good catfish being caught off the bulkheads. Some good Black Bass have been caught in nearby Brushy Creek.
INDIAN CREEK MARINA - Good Crappie fishing near the marina. Cat fishing has been excellent on jug-lines.
OUTBACK CAMPGROUND AND MARINA - The river channel across from Outback remains high and muddy. There has been some excellent cat fishing for big Blues in the river channel on rod and reels baited with fresh shad.
PENWAUGH MARINA - No report on White Bass. Catfish good on jug-lines. Excellent Black Bass fishing here on soft plastic lizards and ¼ oz Rattle Traps. Good Crappie fishing in the brush tops around the bulkheads.
SANDY CREEK MARINA - Good fishing here for catfish on jug-lines, Black Bass in the boat stalls, and good Crappie fishing up Kickapoo Creek on live minnows.
WALKERS CAMP GROUNDS - Good Crappie fishing in Kickapoo Creek. Black Bass are being caught on soft plastic fished around wood up Kickapoo Creek.
WHITE ROCK CITY MARINA - Some excellent fishing for White Bass up White Rock Creek. Good Crappie are being caught in the brush tops on minnow fished about 4 foot deep.

Trinity River Authority reports a release of 33,900 cfs and a lake level of 131.07. Recent water temperatures around the lake have been checked at 46 - 52 degrees. Lake is returning to normal level after the recent rise. Water remains off color in some places, but should clear up without another rise.
Overall, fishing across the lake has been good in recent days between cold fronts. The White Bass spawn up the river seems to be a little later this year. Lots of White Bass are being caught up the creeks. Most of the fish have been males.
The big news from Lake Livingston is that Robert Laird fishing a Polk County Bass Club Tournament weighed in a new Lake Livingston record Black Bass. The fish weighed 13.18 lbs, surpassing the old record of 12.45 lbs which has held since 1987. The fish has been donated to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Share-A-Lunker program and is the first fish entered from Lake Livingston. There have been numerous 6 - 9 lb Black Bass weighed in recently around the lake.
BEACON BAY MARINA - Good fishing for Catfish on jug-lines baited with fresh shad.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - A few Crappie being caught around the boat stalls. Crappie fishing here should improve with warming weather conditions. Water here is in great shape. A few Catfish are being caught in the river on rod and reels. Black Bass fishing is slow.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Water here is in good shape with a temperature around 46 degrees. Crappie being caught 8 - 10 foot deep on minnows before the recent cold front.
BROWDER’S MARINA - White Bass were good in the river before the recent high water. Crappie fishing has been good in the flooded willows. Fishing should improve below the dam when water release gets back down to 17,000 cfs. Good fishing for catfish on jugs in the main lake.
COVE MARINA - The water is still a little off color in Carolina Cove, but is improving daily. Good cat fishing on jugs in Carolina Cove A few big catfish has been caught in the river with rod and reel baited with fresh shad. Crappie are starting to show up in the creeks.
GALLOWAYS MARINA - Blue Cats being caught on rod and reel in the river baited with fresh shad. Crappie fishing had been good around the marina and up Caney Creek until the high water and should return with the normal lake level. Some good catches of White Bass has been reported up Caney Creek.
HARMON CREEK MARINA - White Bass fishing has been excellent up Harmon Creek during warming trends. Lots of males being caught with a few big females showing up. Whites are being caught mostly casting in-line spinners and jigs worked slow over sandbars close to the deep holes. Good catfish on jugs baited with fresh shad in the Bois Arcs in Harmon Creek. No report on Black Bass. Some good number of Crappie have been caught on live minnows in the brush.
HARTS CREEK MARINA - Cat fishing has been good from the bank .on rod and reel baited with fresh shad. Cat fishing good on jug-lines baited with shad in the main lake.
HOLIDAY SHORES - Cat fishing good on trotlines baited with shad.
INDIAN CREEK MARINA - Cat fishing has been good on jug-lines baited with fresh shad.
OUTBACK CAMPGROUND AND MARINA - Cat fishing is always good here and have moved up close to the bank. They are being caught on rod and reel baited with shrimp.
PENWAUGH MARINA - Water is a little off color but looks good. Crappie has been caught in the boat stalls by the marina. Some good Black Bass have been caught here recently.
SANDY CREEK MARINA - Good Crappie fishing continues in the boat stalls and trees. The fish are taking minnows at 7 - 8 foot. Catfish are good on jug-lines, and a few White Bass are being caught along with the Crappie.
WHITE ROCK CITY MARINA - Water is clear and looking good. Crappie fishing has been good up the creek in the brush tops.

Crappie fishing has been outstanding. White Bass are making their annual spawn run up the river. Black Bass are on the nest. Blue Cats are being caught all over the lake.
BEACON BAY MARINA - Good fishing for Crappie in the boat stalls. No reports on Whites. A few Black Bass are being caught.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Crappie are being caught off the piers on jigs. A good number of Blue Cats are being caught in the river. A few Whites are coming in from the river. The river is in great shape now for the White Bass spawn. If conditions stay the same with the rising water temperature, the river should be exploding with White Bass.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Limits of Crappie have been caught early in Kickapoo Creek on jigs and minnows 7 foot deep in 15 foot of water. White Bass are starting to move up Kickapoo Creek.
BROWDER’S MARINA - Good numbers of White Bass are being caught in the river. Good Crappie are being caught in the river in the willows.
COVE MARINA - Good numbers of White Bass are being caught in Thomas Lake on rattle traps. Crappie fishing has been good. Blue Cats are being caught in the river. A few Black Bass are being caught.

Fishing has slowed over all with cold air dropping water temperature below 50 degrees. Fishing has been good on warm afternoons between cold fronts. Best fishing recently has been for big Ops. The big fish are taking perch baited on trotlines in the river channel.
BEACON BAY MARINA - Crappie have been good under the boathouses in the creek on baited brush piles fished with live minnows.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Good fishing for big Ops in the river channel and some blues being caught in Bethy Creek on jug-lines.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Good Crappie fishing in the creek in 8 - 10 foot of water on live minnows.
COVE MARINA - A few Whites being caught in Thomas Lake on warm afternoons, Black Bass fishing slow, good fishing for big Ops in the river channel. Jug-lining for Blues in the flats has been fair. Duck hunting here has been average this year with some good hunts for Wood Ducks and Mallards following the cold fronts.

Trinity River Authority reports a release of 29,500cfs. with all of the gates open at the dam and a lake level of 132.22. Much of Lake Livingston and the river on the upper end of the lake is muddy with a lot of new water coming in. Black Bass fishing has been excellent in some of the backwaters where water remains clear and slowly rising. Cat fishing in the river channel has been spotty with some good fish caught recently but not the numbers of fish you would expect with the current moving in the river.
Conditions look good for duck season.

Black Bass fishing has been fair in clear water areas. Catfish have been excellent with Blue cats 10lbs and over and Ops. Being caught on trot lines and jug lines in the flats.

Trinity River Authority reports a release of 4000 cfs at the dam and a lake level of 130.28. Fishing remains excellent all across Lake Livingston with good reports coming from local marinas. The lake is about 1 foot low now with water being clear in most areas.
Black Bass fishing on Lake Livingston continues to be excellent. Fish up to 10 lbs brought in recently and fish 2-4 lbs are common. Soft plastic Texas-rigged crawworms and Baby Brushhogs have been effective. Blacks are also taking crank baits fished on rocks and wood.
Crappie fishing has been exceptionally good on lower lake boat houses that are in deeper water on minnows and jigs. Some really big crappie have been checked in recently at local marinas and reports of the best Crappie fishing in years.
Catfish continues to be good on juglines and trotlines.
White Bass has been spotty in the creeks. White Bass continues good on the main lake on trolled pet spoons and jigging slabs. Watch for schooling fish under birds.
Stripers reported schooling on south end of lake early at first light.
Duck Hunting for Teal has been spotty with most parties reporting 3 - 5 birds per hunt with several straps of 12-16 birds reported.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Black Bass good on soft plastics fished in the log jams on the river. White Bass schooling around the rocks and sandbar. Crappie fair around the boat stalls. Catfish good on juglines.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Crappie fishing good and are being caught in 4-6 feet of water on minnows.
COVE MARINA - Good Black Bass fishing reported with fish up to 7 lbs being weighed in. Crappie fishing has been spotty. Lots of Teal hunters reported with straps holding 3 -4 ducks.

HARTS CREEK MARINA - Good Teal hunting opening weekend. Good reports of Catfish being taken on juglines and trotlines.
PENWAUGH MARINA - Crappie fishing good in boat houses. Excellent Striper bite at daylight being reported south of Pine Island on Zara Spooks and Rattle Traps. Excellent catches of schooling White Bass have been reported.

Trinity River Authority reports a release of 4000 cfs with 4 gates open and a lake level of 131.15.
Fishing on Lake Livingston recently has been outstanding for White Bass, Crappie, Catfish and Black Bass. Most of the lake is clear now with some areas of discolored water. White Bass are on fire now on the main lake and lower lake areas. Traditional hotspots are producing limits of fish on slabs and trolled spoons. Catfish are spawning and are being caught in good numbers early shallow on the bulkheads. The big news is Crappie fishing has been outstanding recently around the lake. Black Bass fishing has improved recently after the fish seemed to be in post spawn doldrums. Reports of Black Bass 6 - 10 lbs are coming in from all around the lake.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - White Bass fishing has been excellent. There has been some spotty schooling of White Bass in the middle of the creek. Whites are being caught on trolled pet spoons on drop-offs and humps. Jigged slabs and Little Georges are also taking good numbers of Whites. A few Stripers to 24” are also being caught. Crappie good on minnows and catfish excellent on jugs, rod and reels and trotlines baited with fresh shad. Black Bass to 8 lbs have been taken here recently on soft plastic and buzz baits fished early.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Good Crappie fishing up Kickapoo Creek. Black Bass have been good on soft plastic and spinner baits.
BROWDER’S MARINA - Reports excellent White Bass and Stripers in the lake on humps and drop-offs in 20’ of water. Troll pet spoons and jig slabs, CC Spoons and old reliables off the west hump.
COVE MARINA - Reports good Crappie fishing up Carolina Creek. Also, excellent fishing for Big Cats in the river on trotlines. Several Ops over 20 lbs have been brought in. Black Bass fishing is good on soft plastic Creature Baits and Sinkos, Texas rigged. Several nice Black Bass 4 lb to 7 lbs have been caught recently up Carolina Creek on minnows.
HARMON CREEK MARINA - Good Crappie fishing in Harmon with lots of short fish being caught. Crappie are in the brush tops on the cut banks taking minnows and jigs at about 4’. Jug-lining for Catfish is good in the flats. Black Bass fishing is fair.
HARTS CREEK MARINA - Reports excellent fishing for Catfish here. The larger fish are coming in from trotlines baited with live perch in the river channel.
INDIAN CREEK MARINA - White Bass fishing good now in the main lake off structure. Lots of Blue Cats being caught here off the bulkheads early.
OUTBACK CAMPGROUND AND MARINA - Excellent fishing for Blue Cats right off the bank at the marina. Jug-lines are also taking plenty of fish baited with fresh shad and perch.
PENWAUGH MARINA - White Bass fishing has been hot out of Penwaugh. Limits of Whites are being caught on trolled pet spoons and slabs jigged on humps and the 190 Road Bed. Black Bass are fair early. Crappie fishing here recently has been outstanding. Good numbers of Crappie are being caught on minnows off the boathouses in 12’ of water.
SANDY CREEK MARINA - Catfish have been excellent here with good numbers of Blues being caught early on jug-lines baited with fresh shad. Crappie fishing good. White Bass fishing is good.

BETHY CREEK MARINA - Lots of Blue Cats are reported being caught here in Bethy Creek and in the river channel. Rod and reel, jug lines and trotlines are all producing fish on a variety of baits. Crappie fishing is good at the marina and Black Bass fishing was excellent recently but has slowed. Blacks are biting on soft plastic crawfish and spinner baits.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Black Bass fishing good with some fish reported to still be on the beds. Crappie are being caught shallow. Some nice catfish have been coming in on jug lines and trotlines baited with fresh shad.
BROWDER’S MARINA - White Bass in the lake on the humps with water in good shape. White Bass, Catfish and Stripers are good below the dam.
COVE MARINA - Crappie fair at the marina and up Carolina Creek. Black Bass fishing has been fair in pockets of clear water on soft plastic crawfish, spinner baits and crank baits. Fishing for Blue Cats here has been excellent on jugs in the flats, rod and reel and trotlines in the river channel. Fresh shad has been the best bait for Blue Cats.
HARMON CREEK MARINA - Water is in good shape in Harmon Creek. White Bass fishing continues to be good, but is spotty as fish move up and down the creek. Whites are biting a variety of baits including in-line spinners, jigs and 1/8 oz rattle traps. Troll to find the fish and then cast into the schools. Not much being reported on Black Bass fishing here but some fish are being seen on the beds. Crappie fishing is good shallow in the brush tops. Blues and Ops are being caught on trotlines baited with live perch, gold fish and shad.
PENWAUGH MARINA - Reports excellent Crappie fishing near the marina around the boat docks on live minnows.
SANDY CREEK MARINA - A few good Crappie are still coming in here. Blue Cats have been excellent on jugs and rod and reels baited with fresh shad.
WHITE ROCK CITY MARINA - Water is in good shape in White Rock Creek at the marina. Crappie fishing has been fair to good in the brush tops on live minnows. Black Bass fishing is good on soft plastic fished in clear pockets off White Rock Creek.

Browders Marina - Good fishing for Blue Cats below the spillway and the river on fresh shad.
Cove Marina - White Bass fishing excellent in River Channel on Crank Baits and trolled 1/4 oz Rattle Traps. Black Bass fishing has been excellent in Carolina Cove on soft plastics fished around dead wood. Trotline fishing for big cats has been good.
Harmon Creek Marina - White Bass fishing has been excellent with 14 - 16 inch fish being caught. Crappie fishing has been good. Excellent jugline fishing recently for big Blue Cats.
Harts Creek Marina - Some nice Blue Cats are being caught near the Marina on fresh shad.
Indian Creek Marina - Good Crappie are being caught shallow at the marina on live minnows. Catfish have been good on fresh shad.
Penwaugh Marina - Crappie fishing has been good in the creek. Black Bass fishing has been good. A few Stripers are being caught off of main lake points.

Trinity River Authority reports a release of 100 cfs at the dam and a lake level of 130.81.
Fishing for Black Bass on Lake Livingston continues to be excellent. Fish up to 8 lbs brought in recently and fish 2-4 lbs are common. White Spinner Baits fished around wood near cut banks has been producing good numbers of bites. Soft plastic Texas-rigged crawworms and Baby Brushhogs have been effective. Blacks are also taking crank baits fished on rocks and wood.
Crappie fishing has been good in the creeks and boat houses on minnows and jigs. Some really big crappie have been checked in recently at local marinas.
White Bass has been spotty in the creeks. Some recent days have produced good catches of big whites in Harmon Creek and White Rock Creeks on trolled jigs.
Duck Hunting has been good but is spotty as ducks have been concentrated in certain areas. Wood ducks have been good up the creeks.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Good Black Bass over 5 lbs being caught in Bethy Creek. Crappie fishing good in the boat stalls.
COVE MARINA - Nice crappie being caught up the creek and under the pier at Cove Marina. Catfish good on sand flats on trotlines baited with shad and on jugs. Catfish are schooling at night. Good opening day for ducks.
HARMON CREEK MARINA - Crappie fishing has been good. Catfish good on trotlines. White Bass has been good on and off. Black Bass good, with fish up to 8 lbs being caught.
WHITE ROCK CITY MARINA - Crappie fishing has been good in the creek in 7-8 feet of water on minnow and jigs.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Crappie fishing good and are being caught 5 feet over cover in 15 feet of water on minnows. Black Bass are being caught late evening on topwater bait in the river channel. Bass up to 4 lbs being caught. Catfishing has been slow. Duck hunting reported slow.
PENWAUGH MARINA - Crappie fishing is good in the creek. White Bass bite has been slow, but Black Bass has been good.
HARTS CREEK MARINA - Catfishing has been good. Ron Arnold from Baytown, reeled in a nice Blue Cat from the dock weighing 24.5 lbs Duck hunting was good for the opening day weekend.
SANDY CREEK MARINA - Black Bass is good early on spinner baits and soft plastic around the docks. Some crappie are being caught on minnow and jigs. Catfish has been good on stink bait.

Excellent Black Bass fishing continues on Lake Livingston. Three to five pound fish are being caught all over the lake with a occasional six to seven pound fish being reported. Black Bass are taking Lizards, craw worms, worms creature baits, jigs wacky worms and spinner baits. Plastic worms with a different color tail than the body seem to be doing better than solid colors. The Bass are being caught in three to six feet of water around logs, rocks and under boat houses.
White Bass fishing remains good in the main lake, however, has slowed off the recent pace with the rising water temperature. Lots of good fish are still being caught from the Pine Island area off the river channel and Walker Lake, the 190 Road Bed and Dove Island. Whites in the 13 - 15 inch class are now starting to show up in better numbers. Schooling action for Whites is good, but is hard to predict from day to day. Schools are popping up and moving quickly and hard to get into.
Crappie fishing has been good, especially at night under lights in the creeks on live minnows. Bream fishing is excellent in the creeks around marinas. Catfishing remains good, especially on jug-lines baited with fresh shad early in the morning.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Good Black Bass fishing on craw worms fished shallow around wood and rocks. Black Bass also excellent in the river channel on lizards fished in the log jams for fish suspended under the logs.
COVE MARINA - Black Bass fishing excellent early in the morning on Big Bite watermelon seed creature baits fished around wood in the creek. Fish up to 5 pounds have been caught here recently on jigs and craw worms fished under the boat houses in the shade from mid to late morning.
HARMON CREEK MARINA - Black Bass fishing good to 4 pounds on june bug Baby Brush Hogs with chartreuse dipped tails fished in Harmon Creek. Catfish are biting good on jugs here.
WHITE ROCK CITY MARINA - Crappie fishing is good here on jigs and minnows fished around shallow stick-ups, keying on shaded areas. Black Bass are good in White Rock Creek and in the mouths of the feeder creeks on spinner baits and lizards.
BROKEN ARROW MARINA - Black Bass fishing good to 6 ½ pounds here on soft plastic worms with colored tails. Good Crappie fishing at night under the lights on live minnows. Water is in good shape here.
INDIAN CREEK MARINA - White Bass good on the main lake on trolled pet spoons. Catfish good on jug-lines on fresh shad.
BEACON BAY - White Bass good around Pine Island off the river channel on trolled pet spoons near drop-offs and ledges 15 - 17 feet.
PENWAUGH MARINA - White Bass good on trolled pet spoons around the 190 Road Bed. Quiet a few fish in the 14 - 15 inch class are now being caught here.
HARTS CREEK MARINA - Catfishing has been good from the bank at the marina on fresh shad. Also, excellent Bream fishing from the bank at the marina.
SANDY CREEK MARINA - Catfishing good early on jug-lines baited with fresh shad. White Bass have been biting good around Dove Island on trolled pet spoons. Black Bass fishing has been excellent up Kick-a-poo Creek on lay downs and under boat houses. Crappie fishing has been best at night under lights in brush tops.

The Trinity River Authority reports lake level of 131.11 ft with a discharge of 4000 cfs. Fishing has been good recently on all areas of Lake Livingston, North and South. White Bass have moved into the summer patterns and are being caught in the traditional areas when the wind allows. Black Bass fishing has been excellent recently with fish over 5 lbs common. Catfish have been chasing shad early on the bulkheads and are being caught in good numbers. Some excellent Crappie have also been caught recently.
BETHY CREEK MARINA - Excellent crappie fishing in Bethy Creek. Black Bass fair. White Bass good in Bethy Creek with some schooling action reported.
COVE MARINA - Black Bass fishing has been good here on soft plastic crawfish. Fish shallow off dead wood and near cattails. White Bass fishing has been good in the big part of Carolina Creek. Whites are being caught by trolling quarter ounce rattletraps over ridges. Some Whites have been schooling late in the evening providing excellent fast action. Cat fishing here has been good on trotlines.
HARMON CREEK MARINA - Lots of small White being caught in Harmon Creek along with occasional keepers. Crappie has been fair. Catfishing has been good in the river channel. Black Bass fishing in Harmon has been good.

The Trinity River Authority reports lake level of 131.42 ft with a discharge of 15,0000 cfs. Most of Lake Livingston is off color now due to run off from recent rains. The lake should begin to clear with several days of stable weather. White Bass are beginning to show up in the mid-lake area. Crappie fishing has been excellent recently in some areas including Penwaugh Resort, Kickapoo Creek, White Rock and Harmon Creeks. Catfish are moving swallow now and are being caught off the bulkheads with fresh shad. There are also lots of shad on the bulkheads. Black Bass fishing in the creeks has been excellent. Kickapoo and White Rock Creeks have produced good Black Bass by flipping soft plastic, keying on lay downs and dead wood. Chip and Brian Sewell won the Anglers Quest Saturday Series Tournament on March 22, 2008 with a five fish sack weighing 25.43 lbs. Wade Ellis and Toby Hartsell took second place with 21.52 lbs.

The Trinity River Authority reports lake level of 131.54 ft with a discharge of 24,000 cfs. The lake is rising with fresh runoff coming down the river channel from Dallas area rains. White Bass fishing has been excellent at times recently for spawning fish with mostly males in the creeks now. Fishing for catfish is excellent in the river channel. Crappie are beginning to move shallow with some nice ones being caught and Black Bass have moved shallow to spawn with females on the nest. Catfish in the main lake have also now moved shallow and are being caught on the sandbars and bulkheads.

Fishing Report Feb. 21,2005
The lake level is at 131.12 Just slightly above
normal with most areas reporting the water dropping this past week. T.R.A.
is releasing 4,000 cfs. Most of the lake remains off color but is clearing
quickly mostly up the creeks.
Good reports of Crappie , Black Bass, White Bass
and Catfish have all come in to local marinas recently.
Harmon Creek Marina---Reports clearing water
around the marina and down stream with good White Bass being caught
recently up Harmon and Caney Creeks. Some crappie are starting to show up
around the boat house.
Bethy Creek Marina---reports Crappie fishing has
been very good around the boat stall at the marina and also very good
fishing for Blue Cats near the Marina on jug lines and rod and reel baited

Indian Creek Marina ---reports good Crappie
fishing in
8‘-10’ of water. Jug line catfish and rod and reel catfish also very good.
Black Bass have moved shallow here and are being caught on spinnerbaits.
White Rock City Marina---reports improving
conditions with the creek clearing upstream and fishing for Crappie and
White Bass rebounding.
Galloways Marina---reports good action for catfish
on rod and reel.
Kickapoo Marina ---reports improving conditions
with the creek clearing. Crappie are being caught here in 8’-10’ of water.
A big Opp. was caught here on a jug line and released. Good action for
Blue cats also reported on jug lines out of Kickapoo.

LAKE LIVINGSTON
FISHING REPORT MARCH 29 2005
The lake level is at 131.29 with 6 gates open and a release of 6,000
cfs. Fishing has been good out of all Marinas recently prior to the last
cold front and is expected to rebound quickly with warming water and a
south wind. Good reports of Crappie, Black Bass, White Bass and Catfish
have all been coming in. Water temp. Has ranged from 55 to 65 degrees.
Harmon Creek Marina- Crappie fishing good shallow. White Bass good
trolling and casting. Black Bass being caught on the nest. The creek is
low but water is clear. Bethy Creek Marina - Crappie fishing has been
excellent in the boat stalls and on the banks around the marina. Catfish
are being caught also at the marina.
White Bass have been caught in the river channel casting. Indian Creek
Marina Black Bass are being caught shallow. Crappie are in about 8 of
water.
White Rock City Marina- Crappie fishing has been very good .
Galloways- Crappie fishing here has been excellent around the bulk
heads and in the brush. Crappie are still deeper in White Rock and Caney
Creeks. Black Bass to 3.5lbs have been caught recently on
spinnerbaits in the Jungle.
Kickapoo Marina- Good catfish on jug lines and good Black Bass fishing
before the front.
