About Dave

A graduate of Sam Houston State University in 1980, I am a lifetime outdoorsman, teacher, photographer, successful tournament fisherman and outdoor writer. I have been featured in numerous state and national publications including Texas Fish and Game Magazine. One of my editorial roles is that I regularly contribute monthly fishing hotspots to TF&G magazine. I live on Lake Livingston with my wife Kay. I am owner and CEO of Palmetto Guide Service and I offer family, corporate, educational, photo trips, and site seeing tours. David Scott Cox, is a licensed professional outfitter with over 30 years of experience fishing Lake Livingston.
