If you want to fish Lake Livingston for fast & furious white bass action - you’ve got to book David Cox of Palmetto Guide Service. Within 10 min of leaving the boat launch we were on the fish. He uses modern electronics and GPS to locate structure holding large schools feeding on shad and we limited out in just a few hrs using artificial lures. At one point I had a streak of 10 white bass on 10 consecutive casts ! David is a wonderful guy, very friendly w/ a great sense of humor, and extremely knowledgeable about how to fish Lake Livingston. And he won’t hesitate to move to find better locations if necessary unlike some guides I’ve fished w/ before.
